Shrewdly, when buying their family home in 1972 Rhonda’s father purchased Term Life Insurance. In 1990, after he passed away due to Mesothelioma, this Life Insurance policy saved their family home. Rhonda’s mother paid off the mortgage and owns the house she lives in today. Rhonda learned tremendous life lessons from both of her parents: from setting up an IRA at the age of 15, to encouraging her to buy her first apartment as a newlywed, to dealing with life’s unexpected losses in a decisive and dignified way. For these reasons, Rhonda chose a profession where she could pass on the life lessons she learned, combined with her extensive financial education, plus her compassion and sense of humor to help her clients make sound financial decisions.
Rhonda graduated cum laude from CUNY Bernard Baruch College with a Bachelor of Administration in Marketing and Consumer Research in 1989. She received her Paralegal Certification cum laude from Hofstra University ten years later. In 2009, she obtained her Life and Health license. She has since worked at Prudential Life Insurance Company of America, Axa Advisors, and Wealth Advisory Group. Utilizing all that she learned and experienced, Rhonda is excited to take her expertise to The Quintessential Experience in Financial Services, where she uses a collaborative approach to assist her clients in achieving financial confidence.
She was a member of the Young Israel of Plainview Synagogue for over 15 years. As a past president of their sisterhood and former member of the Board of Directors, as well as an adult education lecturer, she was honored as Woman of the Year in 2010. Rhonda strives to make a positive impact both personally and professionally on everyone she meets.
