The key to a successful financial plan is to address each situation based on the factors that make up the client’s financial life. It’s important to have someone to turn to that can be a resource and sounding board when making crucial financial decisions.
Whether the client is looking for an exit strategy for their business or would like to plan their dream retirement, I look forward to helping them navigate through their financial journey.
A TEAM APPROACH
To provide the highest level of service, it’s imperative that a client’s financial team is in contact to make sure there is a cohesiveness to a plan. Communication between a client’s tax, legal and financial professionals can make the most efficient of plans.
I work with tax, legal and financial professionals to provide the greatest value to a client relationship. Support comes from both local and national firms and organizations. If a client has a team of professionals that they trust, I am happy to establish a relationship and work alongside them to help a client achieve their financial goals.
Protection* – By using life, disability and long-term care insurance, I provide business owners and professionals with protection for their family, business, income and assets.
Asset Growth – Mutual funds, annuities and managed accounts can provide business owners and professionals with the diversification they need while taking the appropriate amount of risk to achieve their goals.
Tax Mitigation* – Many business owners and professionals are concerned about taxes. Whether it’s planning around the estate tax or designing a tax strategy moving forward, I work closely with accounting professionals to make sure that these concerns are addressed.
Qualified Plans – Saving for retirement is a key component of a client’s financial plan. Qualified plans allow the participant to receive a current tax deduction while putting money away for the future.
Non-Qualified Plans – One of the hardest things for a business to do is attract and retain employees. Non-qualified plans allow the employer to choose which employees participate and can be a great addition to a qualified plan.
Business Succession Planning – Running a successful business is difficult. Passing the business to a successor can be even more so. I help identify the options that each business owner has when deciding to sell and help implement a plan for a seamless transition.
